How to Make “Swoodles” Using a Spiralizer – Video

I love my spiralizer and can't get enough swoodles (sweet potato noodles). With my spiralizer, I can make oodles and oodles of veggie noodles – a healthier alternative to gluten free pastas – in a matter of minutes. The most often thought of veggie noodle is zoodles (zucchini noodles). But, man, people are now getting really creative with their spiralizer! There are so many great ideas such as swoodles, spiralzed apples (yum!), beets (messy?), turnips (great potato alternative), and more. What a fun activity to get your kids involved with as well – see if they can spiralize a kid friendly food rainbow (and help you with meal prep at the same time).

I love using the spiralizer for my Jalapeño Shrimp w/ Green Curried Swoodles recipe that's on the Prep Dish May Week 3, Paleo menu (full view list of menus here). I chose to put the spiralizer on a “ribbon” like noodle, but you are welcome to go with a more traditional spaghetti-like noodle as well.
