One of our goals at Prep Dish is to make sure all of our recipes are family friendly. I love when I get the chance to see our subscribers favorites but it's even more exciting to see their kids favorites! Kids can be picky and vocal at the dinner table so it's always a plus to find recipes kids enjoy that also checks off the healthy box.
We listened to our customers feedback and created a list of Prep Dish's kids favorite recipes.

Kid Friendly Breakfast
Quick morning breakfasts can be a challenge and let's face it…the cereal aisle calls to children when they walk by! Try these three prep ahead breakfast recipes sure to make your kids be excited for breakfast in the morning.
Peanut Butter Breakfast Cookie
All you have to do is tell your kids your having cookies for breakfast. It's that simple. They don't need to know that these cookies are a great source of protein and have less sugar than a bowl of cereal.
Banana Nut Muffins
It's not too hard to get kids to eat muffins for breakfast! You can feel good about this one as it's mostly sweetened by the bananas. If your kids want more sweetness add a tablespoon of honey!
Cherry Vanilla Granola
Your kids will love this granola! They can eat it plain, with milk or yogurt. It's even great packed in their lunch bag for snack time!
Kid Friendly Recipes for Lunch or Dinner
Half the battle at dinner time is finding things your kids will eat! It's easy to get into a chicken-fingers-hamburger-kind-of-rut. These dinner recipes are tried and true and some of our Prep Dish kids favorites.
Sloppy Joes
Finally…a sloppy joe recipe you can feel great about! This recipe tastes like the original but with much less added sugars. It pairs really well with sweet potatoes but if your kid isn't up for that just serve in a bun!
Oriental Cashew Chicken
If your kids game for Chinese food then they'll be surprised when you make a perfectly tasty version at home! This cashew chicken is a favorite around here. You can replace the cashews with peanuts as well!
Teriyaki Salmon Bowl
It can be challenging getting kids to eat fish. The solution? Teriyaki sauce! It works with most meats and it's always kid friendly. You can change the sides in this bowl to whatever your kids enjoy! I serve ours with steamed broccoli, carrots and snap peas. Feel free to make this bowl your own!
Healthy Kid Treats
It's not too hard to get kids to eat snacks and treats but it can be a challenge finding healthy options. We've got you covered! Check out these tried and true treats that are much healthier than buying store bought cookies!
Watermelon Popsicles
It's easy to get kids to enjoy popsicles and it's even easier making a healthy version of this treat! The fruit truly offers enough sweetener all on it's own but you can also add a tablespoon of honey as well!

Bananas + peanut butter + chocolate is always a winning combination! This snack recipe is healthy and you can change up the toppings to meet your kids preferences!
Almond Butter Bites
Everyone loves energy bites. Let's be honest…it's like eating cookie dough. These bites have minimal added sugar and are oh so good!
Try these tried and true healthy recipes with your kids, they may find some new favorites! Remember, even with the pickiest eaters they're learning how to eat a variety of foods and that will carry over into adulthood. Before you know it they'll be asking for sauteed mushrooms and roasted beets!
