My 15 Paleo Meal Ideas are easy, meal prep friendly and perfect for paleo meal prep. This roundup includes many Paleo dinners, as well as some breakfast & salad options.
The paleo lifestyle can have a reputation for being complicated or requiring a ton of time and effort. After a decade (!!) of creating Paleo meal plans though, I have to say, it really doesn't have to be that hard.
When thinking of new Paleo meal ideas for our meal plans, I of course want them to be delicious. But I care just as much about making them realistic. If no one has time to prep and cook the meal, than what's the point?
I've rounded up 15 of my favorite easy paleo dinner recipes, as well as a few breakfasts and salads, below. You'll be happy to know, these are all paleo meal prep recipes, meaning they're specifically designed to prep ahead. I hope you find a new favorite to add to your paleo meal plan!
15 Easy Paleo Meal Ideas
1. Paleo Fish Taco Bowls
A creamy, tangy, dairy free slaw totally makes this dish. Made with avocado, lime juice, cilantro and cumin, it adds a ton of flavor to a quite simple meal. The slaw accompanies tilapia and cauli rice for an easy dinner that's equally light and satisfying
The recipe is delicious as written but this is also one where you could go crazy with the toppings! Sliced bell peppers, pickled onions, shredded carrots, pepitas, so many tasty choices!
2. Curried Cauliflower Soup
Whether you're looking for a lighter lunch or dinner or searching for the perfect paleo soup to serve with a green salad, this is an excellent choice.
The sweetness from the apple perfectly balances the savory notes from garlic, onion and cauliflower. Coconut milk makes this soup incredibly rich and creamy, without a drop of dairy. I love serving this soup with my paleo-friendly almond flour biscuits!
3. Slow Cooker Italian Pork
This pork has so much flavor and is incredibly tender when cooked in the slow cooker. If you're short on time or need to cook from frozen, you'll also find Instant Pot instructions.
The goat cheese is just a topping and, while delicious, is completely optional. Dairy is always optional on our Gluten Free, Paleo and Super Fast Prep Dish meal plans!
4. Lumberjack Muffins
These little egg muffins are so versatile! They of course make an excellent prep-ahead breakfast but I also love them alongside a salad for lunch!
Lumberjack muffins also work quite well as a freezer breakfast. Make a big batch to store in the freezer and you'll always have something hearty and healthy to grab!

5. Lemony Sheet Pan Chicken Thighs w/ Roasted Vegetables
I'm a huge fan of sheet pan dinners! I prep all of the ingredients ahead of time so all I have to do is toss them in the oven and dinner is ready. Meals like this are perfect for handing off to a spouse, babysitter, or teenager as well. So simple!
6. Thai Curry Soup
This is one of my favorite Prep Dish meals! It's so fresh and bright and the lime, ginger and curry paste lend a ton of flavor. Many curry pastes are paleo but you should double check the ingredients to be sure.
7. Slow Cooker Beef & Vegetable Stew
This stew is so hearty and cozy but made with totally clean ingredients. I love the depth of flavor the red wine gives it but you can also use broth.
If you haven't tried making your own broth, I highly recommend it! It's super easy and tastes amazing.
8. Beef Moussaka
Moussaka is a classic Greek dish featuring beef, eggplant, tomatoes, cinnamon and allspice. It's traditionally topped with bechamel sauce but I use cashew cream here for a dairy free version.
9. Paleo Turkey & Zucchini Lasagna
Way back before I founded Prep Dish, I worked as a personal chef for clients around Austin. One of my most requested recipes was paleo lasagna and it remains popular with Prep Dish subscribers today!
In this recipe, you'll replace the noodles with zucchini and the cheese with either cashew cream or Greek yogurt. I also have a Paleo Eggplant & Beef Lasagna.

10. Paleo Meatloaf
Paleo meatloaf is healthy comfort food at its best! It calls for almond flour instead of bread crumbs. I also use a homemade tomato sauce lightly sweetened with maple syrup in place of the classic ketchup topping.
11. Grilled Steak Kabobs
Sometimes the simplest dinners are the best! I use zucchini and cherry tomatoes here but you can easily vary the veggies based on what's in season or what you have on hand. Mushrooms or bell peppers would be delicious here as well.
12. Shepherd's Pie
My version of shepherd's pie uses a mix of mashed cauliflower and mashed potatoes. I find this maintains all of the rich creaminess of this beloved dish while adding a nutritional boost.
Ground lamb is delicious here but you can also sub ground beef if you prefer.
13. Paleo Waldorf Salad
To me, the best salads have a lot going on in terms of texture and this one certainly fits the bill. Celery, grapes, apple and walnuts give it plenty of crunch and a homemade dressing using avocado mayo makes it perfectly creamy.
14. Italian Meatballs
My kids are a huge fan of this recipe. I love to make an extra batch of meatballs and freeze half for super easy weeknight dinners, or an easy lunch protein option.
15. Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken
This recipe is so simple but the mixture of spices makes it feel special. If you love it as much as my family does, I recommend making a big batch of the Moroccan spice mix to keep on hand. It makes this dish even easier!
