My Method for Chopping Avocado

Avocado, Chopping Avocado

Chopping avocado can get a little tricky. They are awkward to hold and tend to slip and slide a little bit. Today's quick video tip demonstrates the method I use for chopping avocado – the simple and safe way. Even if you have a huge Puerto Rican avocado! 😉

Once you master chopping avocado, try making my Avocado-Tomatillo Salsa. So good with fish, chicken, pork, beef, really anything! Also makes a great dip or sauce for enchiladas. Of course, going simple and serving avocado with a little lime and pinch of salt is one my favorites! One more tip: avocado makes a great substitute for cheese on a salad. You get the creamy texture without the dairy. Yum!
