Halloween Breakfast

Want healthy Halloween recipes that are still festive and totally delicious? These 5 fit the bill! Includes Gluten Free & Paleo options.

Halloween is such a fun time of year. A time for all of us to dress up and be kids again. For many of you the calendar is full this week with work parties, neighborhood events and of course the best night of all for kids… trick or treating.

I know it can be a tough week to balance the fun treats with healthier options so I found some fun ideas that don't require a ton of added sugar that kids and adults will all love! Check out my roundup of 5 Health(ier) Halloween Recipes.

Healthy Halloween Recipes:

Our Sweet Potato Nests are beautiful but with a quick change of name, Monsters Eye Balls they become!

This is such a great healthy Halloween recipe for breakfast because it packs in a ton of nutrition and protein, but still feels like a celebration for the kiddos. These would even work for breakfast for dinner before trick or treating!

The Bride of Frankenstein has never looked better! Love this idea from Fork and Beans! Learn how to make this masterpiece here!

These cuties from Armelle Blog are too cute! Take out your sharpie and get creative. This is a great one for kids to help make as well. See instructions here!

I think these would be super fun to send in a kiddo's lunch the week leading up to Halloween as well. Let the fun start early…but not the sugar rush!

I love how creative these Paleo candies are from Plaid & Paleo Blog. They're perfect for a Halloween party! Get the instructions here!

Caramel Apples are a staple at Halloween. These are simply beautiful. If you have a bit more time this would be a wonderful tradition to include for your kids or to serve for a small party. See the recipe from 40 Aprons blog!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with indulging in a few more traditional Halloween treats as well of course. When you want to stretch the fun over a couple of weeks though, the prolonged sugar fest can feel like too much. That's where these healthy Halloween recipes come in! They're so festive, you won't feel like you're missing out on anything but you'll still feel great physically as well!
