With St. Patrick's Day only *two* days away, it's definitely time to figure out how you are going to sneak some green into your day! You might not have thought about starting your day with a Tropical Green Smoothie, but personally, I can't think of a better way to kick off the day!
In a day traditionally filled with meat, potatoes & cabbage, this Tropical Green Smoothie is a great way to add in some much-needed fruits and leafy greens. Not to mention, the English Cucumber and lemon juice will keep you hydrated as well. And you don't have to dye this one green – I promise this is the real, all-natural color of this Tropical Green Smoothie.
Adding greens to smoothies is also a great strategy for any picky eaters or supertasters in your life!
This recipe yields 2 servings. I recommend doubling or tripling and making smoothie packs for your freezer. A.) This recipe is *that* good! B.) Why do the work once when you can easily double or triple up and stock the freezer? C.) This smoothie will become your favorite perfect grab and go breakfast or snack. Add a spoonful of your favorite nut butter for a protein boost.
Wishing you the luck o' the Irish this holiday!
