After completing multiple Whole30 resets myself, I can tell you the keys to success are meal prep and finding delicious recipes you'll love. You really don't have to feel deprived while completing Whole30 if you simply focus on all of the wonderful foods you can have, rather than on those you can't.
I've rounded up 40 of my favorite easy Whole30 recipes for you today, ranging from breakfast to the best Whole30 snacks to easy dinners. I hope you find some new favorites that make your Whole30 journey a little more enjoyable. As always, make sure to check ingredient lists on any spices, broths, etc. to ensure there's no hidden sugar, gluten or other prohibited ingredients.
One note before the recipes – all of these recipes were designed to be meal prep friendly and, in my opinion, Whole30 meal prep is essential. It's obviously a whole lot harder to grab something last minute when you're completing a reset like this so having plenty of delicious, approved food prepped is essential. If you want to take all of the guesswork out of it, definitely check out my Whole30-compliant reset meal plan. It's a 5-week meal plan that walks you through exactly how to meal prep your Whole30 meals, taking the stress out of the experience.
Easy Whole30 Recipes – Breakfast
Breakfast can be a tough one when you're first embarking on a Whole30. Why? So many breakfasts include sweeteners, which are not allowed on Whole30. Even if you typically stick to less processed options like honey or pure maple syrup, it may be a bit of an adjustment for you. I have included some sweet options like smoothies and fruit-sweetened grain-free granola for those of you who prefer a sweeter breakfast.
Orange Carrot Smoothie
Omit the optional honey from this smoothie to keep it Whole30-approved. Don't worry, it will still have plenty of sweetness from the fresh fruit, especially if your bananas are nice and ripe. Chia seeds and walnuts add some protein and healthy fats to this smoothie, making it nice and filling. Make sure to use Whole30-approved almond milk (like my homemade version below!)
Homemade Almond Milk
While almond milk itself is allowed in Whole30, many versions include sugar or additives that aren't allowed on Whole30. You can check this list for Whole30-approved almond milk but I also urge you to try making your own! It's easy and SO delicious.
Paleo Banana Bread Granola
You are in for such a treat if you haven't tried my paleo banana bread granola! It gets all of its sweetness from dates and bananas, so is totally Whole30 approved. Completely grain free, this Whole30 breakfast gets its crunch from nuts and seeds. This is SO perfect with my homemade almond milk (linked above). Make sure to make the paleo version, as the gluten free granola recipe in the same post contains oats.
Eggs Baked in Avocado
This easy Whole30 breakfast has just 4 ingredients, including salt and pepper. It doesn't get much easier than that! Full of healthy fats from the avocado, this is a filling breakfast that will never leave you hangry.
Eggs in Bell Pepper Rings
Getting sick of eggs? My eggs in bell pepper rings are a fun way to mix it up. This recipe has so much flavor but comes together quickly and is totally Whole30-approved.
Green Shakshuka
I don't know about you but I love getting in a hearty helping of greens first thing in the morning. It just makes me feel good! Full of protein and greens, it's hard to get much healthier (or tastier) than this green shakshuka. Leave out the optional cheese to keep it a Whole30 breakfast.
Sweet Potato Frittata
If you're a fan of sweet and savory (hand raised high!) this one's for you. Sweet potatoes lend a natural sweetness that perfectly complements the savory eggs. Coconut milk gives this dish a richness that's hard to beat.
Tropical Green Smoothie
My tropical green smoothie includes a nice mix of fruits and veggies. If you want extra protein, throw in some nuts or hemp seeds or serve alongside some scrambled eggs.
Best Whole30 Snacks
I urge you not to skimp on snacks when preparing for your Whole30 reset. You can of course keep it simple with items like fruit and nuts but I do think it's fun to have a couple of special Whole30 snacks around to keep your taste buds happy. The below are some of the best Whole30 snacks around, in my opinion.
Guacamole Stuffed Mini Bell Peppers
You can absolutely just serve this guac with your favorite raw veggies on the side but how lovely does it look stuffed into these mini bell peppers? No matter how you serve it, this makes for a delicious and satisfying Whole30 snack. I have a feeling you'll be enjoying this one long after your reset is over.
Baba Ganoush
If you're missing hummus while doing your Whole30, this one is for you! Baba ganoush is another creamy dip, also featuring tahini, but it has a base of eggplant, rather than chickpeas, so is Whole30 compliant.
Veggies w/ Paleo Ranch
I always love including a homemade dip or salad dressing in my weekly meal prep but that's never more true than when I'm doing a Whole30. Make a batch of this paleo ranch at the start of the week and you'll find it easy to reach for veggies as a snack. This one is kid-approved as well!
Best Whole30 Recipes for Dinner
Don't panic if you realize your normal dinner rotation is almost entirely off limits with Whole30. There are SO many delicious Whole30 recipes for dinner once you start looking. It can help to find recipes already compliant with Whole30 (like those below) instead of trying to adjust your favorites. And remember, focusing on what you can have, instead of what you can't makes it a whole lot easier.
Paleo Turkey & Zucchini Lasagna
Made with thinly sliced zucchini for the “noodles” and cashew cream for the creamy layer, the dairy free version of this lasagna makes a perfect Whole30 dinner recipe.
Lemon Herb Vinaigrette – Two Ways
Okay, while vinaigrette is not a dinner recipe all on its own, I had to include this one because it works so well as a “cook once, eat twice” recipe, which is pretty much my favorite. Make a double batch and use half on salads throughout the week and the other half as a marinade for chicken, salmon, or shrimp. So easy and so full of flavor! Make sure to leave out the optional honey to keep it Whole30.
Salmon with Roasted Veggies
This simple dinner is an easy Whole30 recipe at its best. With just 4 ingredients, it necessitates very little meal prep and is quite flexible in terms of what veggies you include.
Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps
These chicken salad lettuce wraps make an excellent Whole30 lunch option in addition to dinner. I love Primal Kitchen for the avocado mayo. Make sure to choose a Whole30-approved bacon, such as Butcher Box (< affiliate link).
Steak Salad
Simple and satisfying, this steak salad is the perfect Whole30 dinner recipe for weeknights.
Paleo Fish Taco Bowls
Light and refreshing, these paleo fish taco bowls include a dairy free slaw to complete the meal. This kind of recipe is easy to adapt if you're also feeding kids or others who are not completing a Whole30. Add tortillas or their favorite toppings and this makes a great family dinner.
Curried Cauliflower Soup
This soup is subtly sweet from the apples with savory notes from the garlic and onion, giving it a lovely balance. Serve with my almond flour biscuits for a meal everyone will love!

Omit the cheese from this recipe and slow cooker Italian pork makes a perfect easy Whole30 Dinner recipe.
Slow Cooker Beef Stew
When you need a hearty dinner everyone in the family will love, this slow cooker beef stew is an excellent option. Omit the optional wine in favor of broth to keep it Whole30-approved.
Dairy Free Beef Moussaka
Inspired by Greek cuisine, my version of moussaka uses cashew cream for the creaminess, making it a great Whole30 option.
Pork Roulades
While it's smart to try to plan around special occasions when choosing when to complete a Whole30, it's not always possible so it's nice to have a couple of fancier Whole30 dinners at your disposal. Despite its simplicity, this one fits the bill. Make sure to use olive oil rather than butter to keep it Whole30.
Paleo Chicken Pot Pie Soup
Who said you can't enjoy comfort food on Whole30? My paleo chicken pot pie soup has all of the classic flavor of chicken pot pie but with only Whole30-approved ingredients.
Stuffed Pork Chops
Stuffed Pork Chops are easier than you think! And with apples, onions, sage and thyme, it's 100% worth the effort to make this tasty dish.
Winter Kale Salad
Winter kale salad makes a perfect Whole30 side dish. Or, add some chicken and make it a dinner salad!
Italian Meatballs
These meatballs are always a big hit in my house. The best part? They freeze really well. Make a big batch and freeze and you'll always have an easy Whole30 dinner on-hand. You'll of course want to skip the optional cheese.
Healthy Sloppy Joes Over Sweet Potatoes
Trust me, these are so much tastier than the cafeteria version you likely grew up with. Needless to say, these are also a whole lot healthier!
Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken
This recipe is near and dear to my heart because it was a favorite with both my boys when we were doing baby led weaning! It remains a hit in my house today and I hope your family loves it just as much.

Garlic Chicken with Broccoli and Sweet Potatoes
Dinner does not have to be complicated to be delicious! A simple seasoning of dried herbs and garlic powder lends this meal plenty of flavor. The veggies are flexible so use what you love!
Slow Cooker Garlic Mojo Pork
Citrusy and garlicky, this Cuban-inspired Mojo sauce is SO full of flavor. Your whole house will smell amazing with this one cooking away in the slow cooker.
Mexican Jicama Shrimp Saute
Jicama is so underrated in my book! It lends a lovely crunch to this Mexican-inspired shrimp dish. Make sure to use the coconut oil, rather than the grassfed butter, to keep it Whole30 compliant.
Roasted Pork with Apples & Rutabaga
I love one pot meals like this. Cleanup is so easy! This dish is the perfect balance of sweet and savory and is Whole30-compliant if you use the olive oil option, rather than the butter.
Classic Chicken Vegetable Soup
No one will miss the noodles in this classic chicken vegetable soup! Fresh parsley and lemon give this soup so much bright flavor. Definitely add this one to your easy Whole30 recipes list!
Mustard Dill Salmon
Dill is such a classic combination with salmon, and for good reason! While I love this dish with asparagus and purple potatoes, the vegetables are of course flexible. Choose whatever looks best this week!
Slow Cooker Turmeric Pork
An easy Whole30 recipes list would simply not be complete without a couple of solid slow cooker recipes. This pork is everything a slow cooker meal should be – incredibly quick to throw together with deep flavor and fall-off-the-bone tenderness. While the post suggests serving with slaw and beans, you'll of course want to choose Whole30-approved side dishes like dairy free slaw, roasted veggies or a simple salad.
Sweet Potato Pear Soup
I love a good pureed soup and this one is one of my favorites. Don't skip the fresh ginger! It adds a ton of flavor. This soup is delicious with a salad or served alongside roast chicken.
Spaghetti Squash with Meat Sauce
This hearty dish was an easy addition to this best Whole30 recipes list. With just 7 ingredients, it couldn't be simpler but is so hearty and flavorful, it's sure to become a family favorite.
Instant Pot Bone Broth
Okay, this obviously isn't a full dinner recipe but I just couldn't leave it off the list! I love sipping on bone broth in the colder months but it also makes a lovely base for soups and stews. Making your own is an excellent way to ensure clean ingredients and to save a whole lot of grocery money in the process.
